Front gate of USM,
Penang, Malaysia, 2010 |
I was young and happy determining on my goal on going to study abroad. So one day, I entered a seminar on fellowship hosting by Universiti Sains Malaysia. I was asking the presenter if they have an exchange program and one guy gave me a contact information and meanwhile I also got email at similar from bong Dany saying there is an exchange program to Malaysia and coincidentally it is USM as well. I got in touch with Bong Timol who got there earlier than me but different program while mine is ASEAN University Network (AUN).

APYC, KL, Malaysia 2010 |
However, it was really tough because it was my first time of all these things: Health check, passport, preparation and more. Especially, it would be my first time abroad and for long time (5 months). Despite all the hardship, I was there in Penang, which is a mixed of Indian, Malaysian and Chinese and very green. My university is called the university of garden and I love it as always. At the same year, I was also selected for Asia Pacific Youth Conference (APYC) in KL which I met a lot of great people and learnt many things.
